Tuft Veterinary School - Macroinvertebrate Models

Hired by the Tufts Veterinary school to fabricate scale models of macroinvertebrates in the pond ecosystem. These models are to be used in research investigating whether they can replace live specimens when teaching children about the pond ecosystem. The macroinvertebrates were modeled on SolidWorks, printed on both a Fortus and a Dimension printer, and spray painted. In total 30 models, 5 of each type, were produced.

Microscope Filter Cassette

Hired by the East Allen Biology Lab at Tufts University to produce a 3d printed alternative to the microscope filter cassettes they were using. In doing so, I reduced their costs from $2,800 to under $300. The new filter cassettes were designed on SolidWorks and printed with the Fortus printer.
